Kensington Notebook Universal DC Power Adapter

The Kensington Notebook Universal DC Power Adapter comes in different flavors (120 Watt, 70 Watt, 30 Watt) and packs a lot of power:

It it a lot slimmer than the standard power supply that comes with most laptops as it is just slightly larger than my external 3 1/2 external HD. But the really cool features are all the things that you do not get with a standard power supply:

  • it can charge a wide range of devices (including laptops, phones, PDAs, iPods, …) using SmartTips

  • it charges several devices at the same time

  • it lets you charge from a wall outlet as well as power outlets in cars and air plane

Max Biaggi will be back on bike #3

Max Biaggi is back on bike #3, but this time in the World Superbike championship with team Alstare Suzuki

Max was stuck without a MotoGP team this year as he upset most of the bike manufacturers and teams. He has signed a 2 year contract with the team that won the championship in 2005. It will be interesting to see how it goes as no Italian has ever won the SBK World  Championship.

Tea Cube & Space Cube

The Tea Cube  (left) is slightly smaller than its predecessor, the Space Cube (right):

The SEMC5701A (Tea Cube) has a 333Mhz CPU, 16MB of flash memory and 64MB of RAM. It is tiny: 52mm x 52mm x 45mm but it still manages to pack a lot of ports including 100Mbit Ethernet, USB 2.0, speaker, microphone and serial port. The video port supports up to 1208x1024 resolution with 65K colors.

Any smaller and you can start wearing your PC as jewelery.
