Nerds are great fathers, husbands and lovers

The New York Daily News says that nerds make better lovers

"A nerd is an excellent provider and a guy who puts you first," says E. Jean Carroll, Elle magazine's love and sex advice columnist. "He'll turn out to be a great father and a great husband."

And, she insists that a woman who is willing to stick it out with a nerd and get past his quirks will be handsomely rewarded. "Don't give up on him too fast," she said. "If you stick with him, he's going to turn out to be really great."

Breathe underwater without an oxygen tank

Alon Bodner has developed a breathing apparatus that will allow breathing underwater without the assistance of oxygen tanks. The new invention supplies oxygen by extracting the small amounts of air in seawater spread by waves and underwater currents.

A rapidly rotating centrifuge extracts oxygen by creating low pressure inside a small sealed chamber. Calculations shows that a one kilo rechargeable battery can provide a diver with about one hour of diving time.

ThinkPad X41 Tablet PC

I have used laptops as my main computer the last 10 years. The IBM ThinkPad series is the best of them all by far. I just love the keyboard, the funny little joystick in the middle and the durability.

jkOnTheRun had the first photos of the ThinkPad X41 Tablet PC earlier this year. It has finally been released and should be out in shops by the 14th,

According to Notebook review:

In our brief experience with the X41, we were simply overwhelmed by the size and stability of the unit. The hinge is strong, the keyboard fantastic and the case designed to take a tumble. For potential buyers where size, durability and quality are more important than price, the X41 Tablet will not be beat.

I want it...
