LaCie safe HD with finger print protection

The latest LaCie SAFE external hard disks support up to 10 fingerprints and five different with different privileges. A simple finger swipe locks and unlocks the drive.  In addition to the to biometric access control they come with an internal firmware called “Drive Lock” that prevents data from being accessed if removed from the case and plugged in to another machine. The high end Mobile Editions can also encrypts the data.
