Cool tool: DropLoad

DropLoad allows you to drop your files off and have them picked up by someone else at a later time.

You can upload the file to DropLoad and the recipients are sent an email with instructions on how to download the file. Files are automatically removed from the system after 7 days.Compress and larger files in 100MB chunks using a compression software like WinRar to share large files.

It is particularly useful when you have to send large files to many people. Sending mails or using a file sharing tool like HFS - Http File Server  means that each recipient will download their copy using your bandwidth. With DropLoad, on the other hand, the file is downloaded from DropLoad which is great news if you have limited bandwidth.

Wouldn't it be cool if GMail offered a similar system? Upload the file to your GMail account and give public access to your shared files.
